As long as all Datastores inside and outside the cluster you are working with use the same Storage Profile. vCloud treats all Datastores with the same storage profile as a single bucket of storage. I'm pretty sure this will work just fine, given that the profiles are set on the Datastores before moving them into the Storage Cluster.
If they are on different storage profiles, change the storage profile of the VM in vCloud Director to trigger the move of the VM onto the cluster. Keep doing this until the Storage Profile is empty and vCloud isn't requesting storage from the Profile/Datastore. Then change the Datastore Profile to match the one that the Datastore Cluster is set to, and move the Datastore into it.
For the purposes of this process, it's independent of Storage DRS. Storage DRS and Storage vMotion is something vCloud isn't particularly aware of at this time.
