You may need to re-sync VSM with VC. I contacted support with a similar issue and this is the response they sent me:
"To fix this issue you'll need to re-sync vSM and vCenter. These steps must be followed in order.
1. Restart your vCenter 'Services' not the server.
2. Restart the vShield Manager vApp
3. After vShield starts back up (This can take a couple of minutes). Login to the User Interface click on 'Settings and Reports'. In Settings and Reports select 'Edit' on your vCenter Server, re-enter the password and click 'OK' to re-sync vShield Manager and vCenter."
