Setting the persistence method to none for https in the virtual server worked. I'm able to get to my vCloud interface using the virtual server IP for the load balancer. Thank you for your answer and quick response. but just for giggles, what if someone wanted to use https. how would you upload the Cert into the vShield edge load balancer? by the way the vCAT doc was VMware vCloud Architecture toolkit by vmware press.
