Update - I tried out the new 2.6 version to see if there was any improvement - I immediately wished I refrained.
Now the whole process is just plain buggy! Performing a copy of the template from vSphere to vCloud now requires you to click validate before you can click finish to proceed, and when I do, it triggers an "export to ovf" task and stays in "In progress" status until it times out. After validation, I can click finish to proceed, and then, the task fails shortly thereafter with either Premature EOF error when I try with HTTPS transfer, or UDT error : 1001 : server does not exist error when I enable UDT on both nodes.
Furthermore, the catalog in vCloud Director org selected for destination is now showing a weird vApp template object: $$$VCC1234Dummy1234Template1234$$$ where the task is at "canceling import" and it stays there seemingly stuck. I have no idea why this particular object gets created by vCC (perhaps it was created during the validation task). The only way I could get rid is to wait for a VERY long time before the status finally changes to failed.
Has this even been tested and QA'ed? This is beyond frustrating purely by the fact that product simply doesn't do what it's supposed to do, and now a 4 vCPU requirement for all servers and nodes is just adding insult to injury.
