Thats specified in the Org vDC tho and the worsto ne if you dont pick up on it PAYG as its set to 0.26GHz by default.
This was just a template so im assuming the Org vDC is the same one that was orgininally setup, there for the previous 2 x 2 core virtuals would have performed just as badly.
Im just assuming here as thats what sounds like should of happened. but definatly check the Org vDC with how much resources are assigned and in use.
Running 25 vcpus per core your going to run into performance issues,
The things that sings out to me is why is the VM running at 100% cpu, adding a second vCPU drops that to 50% which sounds like some proccess is smashing a thread. CPU usage within the guest OS is controlled within the OS.
Are these Running 2008? as going from 4 cpu to 1 the HAL would need to be changed for 2003. also what customisation is vcloud doing when the template is being deployed?
