I am being forced to play clean up in a live environment behind someone else and have run into a situation where the vshield manager for the environment is located in the compute cluster, not the management cluster. I would like to move it into the management cluster as seemlessly as possible, and thought of doing it a few different ways, but I want to cause the least amount of disruption.
Cloning and deploying ovf and then just power on the new one once deployed and power off the old one, followed by a vcenter reconnect.
Or would it be best to simply plan an outage for this?
Thanks.
