Yes, I have a similar question. I'd like to offer backups to clients VM's in vCloud director. Currently the way I'm doing it is presenting iSCSI lun directly to the VM's and using that disk to use programs like backup assist. It's very ghetto and dirty and I hate it, but it's all I have. I'd like something almost like Acronis vmProtect or something where I can back selected VM's up for the client. Also being able to allocate a certain amount of backup storage would be ideal too since I could sell it in chunks, however I could just work out some prorated fee for the size of the VM and call it a day.
